I’ve read this entire series TWICE, and I am positive that I will read it several more times. The emotional roller coaster you take us on is beyond words. I have cried so much. I can see them and hear them as if I am standing next to them. I also must comment on this music that you featured in “Losing Starsky” is so haunting. I can see Hutch sitting at the piano, just playing this from his heart. His last gift. Thank you so much.
Thank you, Deb. The music is indeed so bittersweet and haunting—reflecting Hutch’s monumental grief. I like what you said: “His last gift.” And thank you for enjoying Dandelion’s stories so much; my favorites are SAVING STARSKY and LOSING STARSKY. Their love is so deep, it’s so easy to cry when they hurt.
I’m not sure I can pick an absolute favorite “book” in this series! But I tend to agree with you about
“Saving Starsky “ and “Losing Starsky”. The INTENSITY in “Losing Starsky” was gutwrenching. I could feel what Hutch was going through. The same goes for what Starsky goes through in “A Time Peace”.
As for the piece of music I mentioned, did you write and record that?
Hi again. I didn’t write or record the music. I licensed it from Audio Jungle by AudiophileTrax as the author of the music. The account is no longer active on the Audio Jungle site and I haven’t been able to find the musician since, but I recall it was called, simply, “Piano.” And, ah, yes, A TIME PEACE! I hear she’s working on another “loss” novel now, too. ?
OMG Really?!?! This series was so frickin’ amazing that I CANNOT WAIT for another Novel from you! Most likely it will be another story so captivating, that I will read it multiple times also. Please make an announcement when it is ready to post! I will “clear the decks” so I can immerse myself immediately.
Awww thank you so much! Are you aware of Dandelion’s Second Universe series? There are two stories in it now and a third one on the way. You can find it here, but read BEGINNING AGAIN first because that’s the first in this second series, but for some reason, the site has listed it as second. ?
